So, I started a blog.

So, I have been writing quite a bit recently and so I decided to start a blog. For those of you who don't know me, here goes;

I am Joshua. I play in a band called Every Avenue. We tour the world and I am never home. I love it. I enjoy writing folk music for fun. I like reading. I have been incredibly interested in talking about religion and what other people believe lately. I am not vegetarian or vegan because meat is absolutely delicious. I drink too much. I try not to take things too seriously. I have an awesome family. My best friend is Charles Martinez. I'm tall. I am single and waiting for a girl to show me something different.

Those are the cliff notes.

Currently, My band is in LA for seven weeks recording our second full length on Fearless Records. We are working with producer Mitch Allan. He sang for the band SR71 and has worked on records ranging from Daughtry to the Jonas Bros. I am stoked for the progress we are making. Mitch has such a good ear for melody and song structure. I will try to keep posting updates as we make further progress with the record. 

I'm off to have finish the day in the studio. Then it's time for a pool party. God, I love LA.
